Just had a new 18 cu.ft. Upright AMANA delivered to us. Top Freezer is larger than average, consequently Fridge section is lower and necessitates bending way-over even to reach items in the middle of top fridge shelf and must get on hands and knees to reach items on the bottom 2 Fridge Shelves. Condensation forms on the top of the Fridge Compartment, then turns to Ice on the back of the Fridge Compartment, even after trying different temp. settings for the Fridge & Freezer Compartments. Door shelves nothing like Amana Advertisement on Internet, with Shelf for quart size bottles at bottom of door and very, very inconvenient!! Fresh Vegetables Freeze in Crisper Drawers!!

I bought this Refrigerator a month ago. It's smaller than the 18 cu. ft I have bought in the past. The advertisement is misleading as well. It says the size is 18.2 cu.ft. Very little space in the top freezer, for frozen items . A small rack about a fourth the size of a full rack for freezer space. I have another Amana 26 cu. ft., side-by-side I've had about ten yrs. The handles started to come off about a week after it was delivered, and the bottom cover underneath the front of the refridge, pops off when you open the freezer door. The ice maker,started to rust afew months after I had purchased it. For the money you charge for the poor quality of these appliances is outrageously. I had another 18 cu.ft., refrigerator I had for almost twenty-seven years,and in Nov.2018, it stopped working.It was a Sears Kenmore. I had it serviced four times out of the 26 yrs I had it. And it still looked new when this Amana was delivered. I wished my kenmore was fixable,I woluldn't have been disgusted with this Amana I bought a month ago.

My father purchased a home to age in place. I needed to get him a refrigerator that was easy for him at 86 to "get in/out of" and the door swing could be adjusted so if you have a walker you can open to the easy entry in the kitchen. The Amana ART308FFDW had perfect features for him-easy to "see" everything with the light, clear bins, and all the various storage areas and compartments. At his age the freezer on top makes great sense for his ice cream snacks!

I would prefer to have tempered glass shelves in it vs the wire racks but other than that it's perfect.

Works well and is well made. Shelves should have closer wires as cans and bottles tip when not perfectly situated on the shelves. Also should have more choices for shelf adjustment, only the bottom is tall enough for gallons of milk. Also, the door shelves cannot accommodate taller bottles like wine or champaigne.

back panel vibrates and gives off buzzing sound. doors open too wide and hit furniture or people. wires on shelves are too far apart so small bottles tip over.

Bought a month or so ago,also bought stove at same time.I sent the warranties in at the same time,but you don`t mention the stove. We had the same appliances for 18 years with no problems. wife wanted new ones in black so we bought Amana again...they work great!.......DBH

I just installed this fridge about this morning. It is the worst of its kind. The wire shelves of which only two supplied for the fridge, NO SHELF SUPPLIED FOR THE FREEZER although it states that it comes with one. The temperature controls is not user friendly. Set temp control to "recommendation" setting and it is now 8 in the evening and the fridge is not very cold, the beers are still very low cold but not room temperature. The design for storing items in the door is adequate not impressive. Built cheaply and feels cheaply built. I gave it a two stars for trying.

oh, I am so disappointed in this product... there is NO shelf in the freezer, please mail one to me... it should have come with one, also, the fruit/veg drawers are shaped in a terrible way, very little room in the drawer compartment and very inconvenient handle access to them... the quality of the top finish of the outside is horrible... cheap metal painted... awful... no design, texture... oh terrible... not even the screws are white....but stainless and show up like a bad bandaid... waiting for repair or redesign... can you change any of these above things for me...or exchange this for a better model... this one is the absolute 'worst' refrigerator I have ever owned... no deli meat section to store those items... a very low end '''cheap''' model... am extremely disappointed

We are still very thankful for the lady that got our refridgerator exchanged. She was so fast and thorough . We had the other one for three months , unable to use .It wouldn't get cold in any part of the efridgerator..
